A set of templates providing guidance for policy-makers on how to formulate the basic lines for local policy on adult education.
The Guide logically follows upon the work in IO3. Once the target groups of LEAP, that is the representatives of local authorities, become interested in the adult education area and they acquire the basic concepts thanks to materials on the LEAP platform, they may want to draft a planning document on adult education for their municipality.
The work under this Intellectual Output comprised the following two tasks:
A) Drafting a Guide: A set of templates to promote the uptake of project results and deliverables beyond the scope of the partnership and the scale of the project. The Guide provides guidance for policy-makers on how to formulate the basic lines for local policy on adult education. The templates are complemented with examples from the process of building of a Learning City of Pécs.
B) Piloting and testing of the Guide: this process resulted into a set of simple policy documents on adult education on the local level. The Guide provides step by step guidance - from collecting data relevant for adult education, through identification of local players, finding out more about potential target groups, making the analysis of training needs, monitoring the actions.
